Hey babes, happy Friday Eve!
I know for a fact that we all have specific articles of clothing that at one time or another we shied away from. Most times, it wasn’t that we didn’t want to rock those items; it was just that they weren’t flattering in our opinion. Honestly, I have been there about several different articles of clothing; pants, jeans, and turtlenecks have all been on my list of personal fashion don’ts, but over time I learned to rock them with confidence. Oh and, today I am adding the blazer to the list of personal fashion don’ts that are now must-haves.
My issue with blazers has always been about finding one that wasn’t boxy because even when wearing clothes that are considered masculine the goal is to still be sexy and curvy too. Another issue that I had was the length of the sleeves, they were almost always too darn long, and I refused to look like I borrowed the blazer from my brother. Also, at one point in my life, my breast was much larger, and they made sizing problematic, who wants to look as though they are about to recreate a scene from The Incredible Hulk… Not the kid!
Now don’t get me wrong, I always saw the potential that blazers had in terms of styling, I couldn’t find one that worked for me. It wasn’t until I begin seeing all of my blogger boos rocking the Bryant Blazer that I decided to give blazers another try. And listen, sis, I am so glad that I did because this blazer is everything I ever wanted in a blazer. Yes, it has a bit of a masculine vibe with the faux double breast look but it complimented my curves, and I felt so feminine and sexy.
