Truth is not every woman has Beyonce’s wardrobe. Many women are not financially capable of shopping for a new outfit for every occasion. I know because I am one of those women. Yes, I love fashion but with two teenagers (one is a graduating senior and the other is a baby diva) and being a new homeowner; mama can’t afford to just throw it in the bag. However, despite my tight budget and limited funds, I still find a way to slay!
Personally, I lean on my style to assure that I slay the scene because I know that in the end, that matters more. I purchase pieces knowing that I have the ability to style and wear them several different ways. Based on the occasion, where I am going and the weather; most (if not all) of my clothing can be paired with other items to create a look that gives life in it’s own way.
“Clothes are nothing until they are placed on a confident body with style”
Although I am sure that most of you get what I am saying, I am still going to give you a visual. Why? Because seeing is believing and… I need yall to know how cute this faux leather skirt from Eloquii is. LOL!
MY STYLE JOURNAL

Family, relationships and work can be a lot for any woman. One of the important parts of a woman’s life is self care; you have to make sure that you take time for you. Whether it is hanging with the girls, shopping or just a day at the salon, me time is a must!

There has always been this myth that fat girls can’t serve up a little sexy but that is a lie! We are just as sexy as we know we are and I must admit, the fellas agree. A woman should never be afraid to flaunt her assets, like they say… “IF YOU GOT IT FLAUNT IT!”
Pink and Black Bustier: Lane Bryant
Black Pleated Faux Leather Skirt: Eloquii
Black and Gold Sandal: Sears
I just love this skirt, it is available up to a size 24 which means that many of my extended plus girls can rock with it too. Depending on your proportions, you may be able to wear this skirt even if you normally wear a 26 or 28. You all know that I am about fit more than size and although I wear a 24, I am not ashamed to go higher or afraid to go lower.
So, tell me ladies… How do your transition your fashion favorites?
You are really working out that skirt. If they still have it in stock I’m getting one.
They do still have it! You should, it has so much potential!
Cute!! love the look.
