I was honored to be featured by Curvy Couture as the Curvy Girl of the month for May. Along with the feature, each curvy girl receives her choice of any Curvy Couture intimates. I decided to get the Strapless Sensation Multi-Way Push-up in black, since I was in need of a good strapless bra.

I have to be honest, I never would have purchased a bra from Curvy Couture online because I am very particular when it come to bras.  The reason I am so cautious is because following my breast reduction, bras tend to fit funny.  My overall cup size is smaller but I still have that roll that once was affiliated with my much larger breast.  Due to this, I have to make sure that the band is wide and strong enough to pull things together.

I received the package from Curvy Couture prior to the PHAT Girl Fresh presents Life Styled event but because of my thought that this would be yet another disappointment, I didn’t open it right away. I decided to give the bra a try under my swimsuit for the Curvy Fashionista‘s swim event.

**sidebar**Yes, it is my belief that support garments can be worn under swimsuits if you are just being fashionable and not getting into the water.

Boy, was I wrong!!!!  This is an amazing bra!! It really lived up to all of my needs when looking for a bra: fit, coverage and comfort. The fit is dead on the money,  the band is did a great job of smoothing out my back fat and it was comfortable the entire time (including the three hour drive back to Albany). The bra came with two sets of straps; one in black and the other clear, this assures that you have the ability to wear this bra with any and every thing in your closet.

I know that many of my curvy girls with heavier chest feel the way I do about bras, they must be tried on before you purchase them.  I totally understand the hesitation of buying a bra online and Curvy Couture has a solution for that too.  There are many boutiques that carry Curvy Couture Intimates that are ready to serve you.  There is no reason for you to get caught rocking a bra that doesn’t fit or support your tatas.
