R.I.P Meesha Booh

May 15, 2014

photoR.I.P to blogger/ vlogger Tamisha Ridge known to the world as Meesha Booh.  She life was cut short due to an obsession harbored by the father of one of her children.  Family members and friends say that Meesha was so afraid of him that she had packed her children up and moved on several occasions.  It is unknown what sparked the final straw but Sacramento Police say Dameshlo Green entered ex-girlfriend Tamisha Ridge’s home through an unlocked door, went straight into her room where she slept and shot her at close range. This is such a sad and tragic end to a life so beautiful and filled with promise.Silence-Hides-Violence

Meesha Booh’s  story is yet another reminder that there is work to be done among one another.  People need to learn that domestic violence is in no way love.  Love is a lot of things and it evokes many feelings but know this;  love doesn’t not hurt, love is not fear and love gives life, not death.   photo (1)

I’m going to miss her so much! This is my second friend I lost due to DV and its so sad. Tamisha was a beautiful girl and full of life! i remember when I met her in the second grade at Freeport Elementary School, she was special friend. We went to school together all the way until our freshman year & I ended up @another highschool for 10th grade. I pray for her family & kids! i hope her situation helps someone heal. Tamisha loved God & I know shes resting in the arms of Jesus!

Someone put her on this racist horrible website. http://chimpmania.com/forum/showthread.php/50456-Breeding-factory-of-three-permanently-shut-down It’s disgusting what they are saying about Tamisha and her beautiful kids.

I just recently starting watching this young lady. She inspired me to make my own clothes. I wish people learn to talk about their frustrations instead of killing someone. I understand what it is like to love someone hard enough that you believe you cant live without them. But over time, feelings change and you learn to breath again. Let Go and Let God. RIP Meesha.

Meesha gave me the courage sew (something I have always wanted but was afraid of, because I did wanna ruin anything) until I found Meesha on YouTube! I bought everything I needed and watched every video of her..
Just today!!!! I found out about her death! I am angry at myself for not noticing that she wasn’t uploading any videos lately and I’m angry to what caused her death! I will never forget the sparkles in her eyes, the huge smile on her face in ever video!!! May she rest in peace! We truly lost an Angel! My sincere condolences to her family and children! A devastated ‘fan’ from Holland! Xxx

Omgoodness I’m tearing up so much because I went on YouTube looking up how to make a dress, and I’ve been watching all day and then a memorial and this sad song came on, and I’m like who died? ?? Then I realized the song is about Meesha! :'( Rest In Paradise

So sad and pointless. May God continue to hold her family close & ease their pain in what will forever been an unneeded emptiness… I’m glad I got to experience a part of what made you beautiful, rest in peace.

This is God’s doing! I still remember vividly th This is God’s doing! I still remember vividly the way I felt when I found out I was pregnant with my son. I remember the day I planned to abort him. I damn near remember every moment that I have shared with him over the last 23 years and every moment I had with God on his behalf. As we prepare for yet another amazing moment, I am grateful.

Grateful that God loved me enough to bless me with this joyful black boy. Grateful that he was patient as I grew from girl to woman while being his mother. Grateful that he inspired me to push past every roadblock placed in my path.

@youknowitszaydoe, I am so proud of you and I love you far beyond any words, actions, or material items, black man. I once called you sun because you shined like one but truthfully you out shine the sun, son. i pray that you receive and cherish every good and perfect thing God has for you. I pray you continue to pursue your purpose with passion. Most of all I pray that and abundance of love and light surround you and that despite life challenges you never cower in the face of adversity.
